Artist Shiri Phillips from Omaha, Nebraska is joining us for our August SF Pop-Up. Her art brightens up a room with playful whimsical brushstrokes. In her piece Nothing Short of Colorful, Shiri experiments with glitter and glow-in-the-dark paint to add a touch of childlike wonder. These impressionistic abstracts are a welcome splash of color that will make any room in your abode feel vibrant and refreshing.

One of my favorite SF artists, Victoria Veedell, often takes day trips north to the Russian River. She captures the light and motion of the water so beautifully in her large-scale oil paintings! This enchanted place is a delight, with golden hues in the morning, earthly tones in the afternoon, and magenta hyper-real sunsets in the early evenings.

I got the lovely opportunity to stop by Petaluma artist Linda Donohue's studio last weekend with my 4-year-old. Luca helped curate some colorful abstracts for Secession's virtual gallery.

Father's Day is right around the corner! Art makes a great gift that the entire family can appreciate. When I think back through my life, I am grateful for my dad's lessons in teaching me to be a smart, strategic, empathetic, and community-based entrepreneur.

The pop-up has ended, but our virtual gallery is full of beautiful art to collect for your abode. I rested deeply this week after a long city weekend hosting our Spring Art Pop-up. It was a huge risk to rent the empty storefront and transform it into a gallery. You all showed up and many of you went home with art.
