Secession Art & Design has been closed to the public for 43 days as a non-essential business during the COVID-19 pandemic, and the shelter-in-place order has just been extended through May. Our goal is to get creative with our fundraising and keep our fingers crossed. 

Secession Art & Design is hosting a Zoom happy hour tonight where you get to meet mixed media artist Heather Robinson and urban cityscape artist Nathalie Fabri. Show up tonight to cheer us on, purchase some art, and give us a big virtual hug. If you do have a drink... take a sip every time we say "Art is Essential.”

Secession Art & Design's new spring show, Essential, is a lush and vibrant collection featuring mixed-media abstract art by Heather Robinson and colorful urban landscapes by Nathalie Fabri. Our gallery, like so many, closed our doors as a nonessential business during the COVID-19 pandemic to help slow the spread of the virus. This show was born from watching artists use social media as their muse as they shelter in place in their homes.

Secession Art & Design is my home away from home. Our gallery and boutique is closed to the public until May (or longer) as a non-essential business during the pandemic. I strongly believe that art is essential, and I have shown up every day to support the 70+ artists and designers that I represent. It brings me great joy to curate, so my self-care this month was hanging a brand new show, featuring vibrant abstracts by our in-house artist Heather Robinson and bright dreamy urban landscapes by Nathalie Fabri.
