Secession Art & Design Blog

Secession Art & Design opened our Bernal Heights location in August of 2007, and has since grown to represent over 50 independent artists and designers. Our retail location is a gallery, boutique, and workspace combined, creating an untraditional storefront that allows customers to experience curated shows by owner, Eden Stein, and see the process of art being made in-house by Heather Robinson.

Forever Art for Immediate Satisfaction

Secession Art & Design's virtual gallery is transforming with new art for our SF Spring Art Pop-Up at 307 Cortland April 25-28. I keep finding myself daydreaming of the walls at 307 Cortland. Like a giant puzzle, I start playing with the pieces until they all fit and the gallery feels like a visual experience. For this collection, my goal was to find art that was botanical and abstract; pieces that give you a micro and macro view of natural beauty caught in motion by an artist's eye. I can feel the optimism that happens when winter turns to spring. What piece will fill your home with wonder and hope for the sun-filled days ahead?

Happy Collecting, Eden

P.S. All art is available for immediate purchase. If you are local you can choose local delivery for art over $500. I will personally deliver art to your door.
