Secession Art & Design Blog

Secession Art & Design opened our Bernal Heights location in August of 2007, and has since grown to represent over 50 independent artists and designers. Our retail location is a gallery, boutique, and workspace combined, creating an untraditional storefront that allows customers to experience curated shows by owner, Eden Stein, and see the process of art being made in-house by Heather Robinson.

Take home a 94110 bag when you shop local

Secession Art & Design's holiday collection is ready for you to shop local for everyone on your list.

Enjoy the fairs, but not the crowds? Stop by Secession this weekend Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for first dibs from our artists & designers. Our lovely storefront on Mission Street is calm, kid- and dog-friendly, and is always stocked with M&M's. Be adventurous and make your way to Mission Bernal.

Thank you to our loyal customers and new friends. We're closed on Thanksgiving Day but open normal hours Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I look forward to seeing you this weekend!

Eden
