Secession Art & Design Blog

Secession Art & Design opened our Bernal Heights location in August of 2007, and has since grown to represent over 50 independent artists and designers. Our retail location is a gallery, boutique, and workspace combined, creating an untraditional storefront that allows customers to experience curated shows by owner, Eden Stein, and see the process of art being made in-house by Heather Robinson.

Eden 10K Fundraiser!

I am hosting a fundraiser to raise much-needed funds to help with some immediate expenses while I actively search for jobs, build my art consulting clientele in Sonoma County, repair my car and pay for preschool. My physical storefront closed in San Francisco one year ago, but I have kept the Secession Art & Design online store active, all the fixtures in storage, and my graphic designer on the payroll. I also have debt from the COVID loans that were essential, but will not be paid off for 3-5 years. The money that I saved to last me one year during this transition is now gone, and I am trying to rebuild my reserve, but it will take time.
