Secession Art & Design opened our Bernal Heights location in August of 2007, and has since grown to represent over 50 independent artists and designers. Our retail location is a gallery, boutique, and workspace combined, creating an untraditional storefront that allows customers to experience curated shows by owner, Eden Stein, and see the process of art being made in-house by Heather Robinson.
Feeling complete gratitude to everyone who has supported my fundraiser so far. My goal is to raise 10k in 10 days. My physical storefront closed in San Francisco one year ago, but I have kept the Secession Art & Design online store active, all the fixtures in storage, and my graphic designer on the payroll. I also have debt from the COVID loans that were essential, but will not be paid off for 3-5 years. The money that I saved to last me one year during this transition is now gone, and I am trying to rebuild my reserve, but it will take time.
