Secession Art & Design Blog

Secession Art & Design opened our Bernal Heights location in August of 2007, and has since grown to represent over 50 independent artists and designers. Our retail location is a gallery, boutique, and workspace combined, creating an untraditional storefront that allows customers to experience curated shows by owner, Eden Stein, and see the process of art being made in-house by Heather Robinson.

Vote Secession For Best Art Gallery

SFBG's Best of the Bay is open for voting

I have curated over 75 art shows in the last eleven years of owning Secession Art & Design. I am honored to own this gallery and work with so many talented local artists. Word-of-mouth is still our best way to get people through our doors to discover our 70+ makers. While the Guardian was in print, we won Best Gallery four times. This has been a powerful way for more people to discover our storefront and all that we do.

Please take a moment to vote us Best Art Gallery and Best Women's Clothing Store. You can vote for all your Bay Area favorites. The Bay is an amazing place for art, food, and culture. Let your voice be heard and support your local businesses. Voting is free and open until September 30th. Spread the word and show your love.
