Secession Art & Design Blog

Secession Art & Design opened our Bernal Heights location in August of 2007, and has since grown to represent over 50 independent artists and designers. Our retail location is a gallery, boutique, and workspace combined, creating an untraditional storefront that allows customers to experience curated shows by owner, Eden Stein, and see the process of art being made in-house by Heather Robinson.

Spring Art Pop-Up opens this Thursday at 307 Cortland!

You are personally invited to our four-day San Francisco Spring Art Pop-Up, where we transform an empty storefront into the Secession gallery, featuring sixteen California-based artists.

When curating this event, I asked Rachel Znerold to create our centerpiece. Capturing an epic Bernal view at the golden hour allows you to feel this moment through her brush strokes and attention to detail. Anything is possible, watching the gold reflect on the city at sunset. I look forward to helping you find art that brings you happiness.

Want to meet our artists? Please join us for an art party this Friday, April 26, 6-9pm, sponsored by De Fonte Law Estate Planning With Heart
