Secession Art & Design Blog

Secession Art & Design opened our Bernal Heights location in August of 2007, and has since grown to represent over 50 independent artists and designers. Our retail location is a gallery, boutique, and workspace combined, creating an untraditional storefront that allows customers to experience curated shows by owner, Eden Stein, and see the process of art being made in-house by Heather Robinson.

SF Spring Art Pop-up at 307 Cortland, May 4-7

Save the date! May 4-7 is our San Francisco Spring Art Pop-up at 307 Cortland. I am coming back to Bernal for a long weekend, to transform an empty storefront into a gallery.  Fifteen artists have created a collection of art that will make each room in your abode feel vibrant and meditative. For those of you who want to see a sneak preview of the new art, go onto our virtual gallery. You can purchase prior to the pop-up and choose local pickup or free art delivery.

I am forever thankful for all of your love and support. When I wake up in the morning and think of what I am truly passionate about, it's art, curation, community, and storytelling. This pop-up has been a healing opportunity to continue working with artists and clients, without the overhead of a permanent gallery.

Want to sponsor this event? Hop onto our donation page. The fundraiser goes towards the cost of the short-term rental, art installation, and production of this event.
