Secession Art & Design opened our Bernal Heights location in August of 2007, and has since grown to represent over 50 independent artists and designers. Our retail location is a gallery, boutique, and workspace combined, creating an untraditional storefront that allows customers to experience curated shows by owner, Eden Stein, and see the process of art being made in-house by Heather Robinson.

Secession Art & Design's Mother's Day collection is inspired by all the moms who make it look easy to raise little ones and work. Two weeks after Luca was born, I went back to work. It is my greatest joy to teach him to install art, appreciate our customers, and learn from our artists and designers.

Being a mom has changed things - I can't work 24/7, so I have to get everything done in a few hours. Moms have superpowers to get so much done in such little time, and forgive themselves for the messes. This weekend, instead of flowers or chocolates, give Mom a gift card so she can have a moment of peace and normalcy to shop from one of our 70+ artists and designers. If you want to surprise her, you can pop by for a card, jewelry, art, or clothing.
