Secession Art & Design opened our Bernal Heights location in August of 2007, and has since grown to represent over 50 independent artists and designers. Our retail location is a gallery, boutique, and workspace combined, creating an untraditional storefront that allows customers to experience curated shows by owner, Eden Stein, and see the process of art being made in-house by Heather Robinson.

Secession Art & Design is my home away from home, my office, and my sanctuary. I never know what might happen or who I'll meet. People walk in and ask if we are a new store, and I always tell them, "12 years new". I still have the energy that I had when I first opened to support and source independently made art, clothing, and jewelry. My passion is for choosing a collection that is unique and tells a story.

Last weekend a couple that got married at City Hall came into the store to purchase rings. They made me cry when they kissed. Thank you for letting us be part of your celebrations.
