Secession Art & Design Blog

Secession Art & Design opened our Bernal Heights location in August of 2007, and has since grown to represent over 50 independent artists and designers. Our retail location is a gallery, boutique, and workspace combined, creating an untraditional storefront that allows customers to experience curated shows by owner, Eden Stein, and see the process of art being made in-house by Heather Robinson.

Art, spaghetti, and holiday shopping

We're open Tue - Sun 12-7pm through Christmas Eve

The elves at Secession Art & Design have been busy getting our gallery & boutique stocked with art, clothing, ceramics, and jewelry for everyone on your list. Stop by for a shopping experience that is easy and thoughtful. You might even get to play with a cute baby. We have a selection of items under $25 that are perfect for office gift exchanges or stocking stuffers.

Did holiday shopping get you hungry? Across the street from the gallery is Emmy's Spaghetti Shack. We decorated their walls with a collection of framed city-inspired prints by Hillary Williams, all for sale through the gallery. Gift locally this season!

Cheers
Eden

P.S.: Don't forget to join us Saturday 2-6pm for our pop-up featuring Josh Coffy and Heather Robinson. Shop with local artists and enjoy live music, homemade cookies, and cider.
