Secession Art & Design Blog

Secession Art & Design opened our Bernal Heights location in August of 2007, and has since grown to represent over 50 independent artists and designers. Our retail location is a gallery, boutique, and workspace combined, creating an untraditional storefront that allows customers to experience curated shows by owner, Eden Stein, and see the process of art being made in-house by Heather Robinson.

20% off art this weekend for Eden's birthday!

This weekend is my birthday. If you are in town, please stop by for some cheer and do some local shopping. The best gift you can give me is supporting Secession!

As my birthday gift to you, I'm offering 20% off all original art in the gallery Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Come in to visit, or you can shop online with discount code BIRTHDAYART.

All August I've been a busy shop owner, traveling and doing studio visits to bring you great, unique pieces that are made by people we know. I can't wait for you to see all that is new, and I can't think of a more beautiful place to spend my birthday than the gallery and boutique that I created. Thank you to my mom and dad who gave me the gift of life, the determination to be an entrepreneur and the behind-the-scenes support to create my own career path. I am glad I was born!

XO Eden

P.S. I'll be spending after-hours at some local favorite restaurants and bars with loved ones and friends. Instead of gifts, I am asking everyone to shop or become a patron of Secession.
