Secession Art & Design opened our Bernal Heights location in August of 2007, and has since grown to represent over 50 independent artists and designers. Our retail location is a gallery, boutique, and workspace combined, creating an untraditional storefront that allows customers to experience curated shows by owner, Eden Stein, and see the process of art being made in-house by Heather Robinson.

 

Eden's 40th Birthday - Shop, vote, donate

I am turning 40 this weekend. All the milestones came this month! I celebrated my 10th anniversary of Secession Art & Design, my 11th wedding anniversary, and saw Jawbreaker (their first show in 21 years).

Celebration happens after hours when you own a small business. I will be open Friday-Sunday 12-7pm. Instead of gifts, please consider shopping, voting for us as Best Art Gallery in the Bay Guardian, or donating to our fundraiser. Every action that you do to support the gallery and boutique gives me strength to push forward and curate from my heart. I am excited to take on my next decade knowing that we are in this together and that love wins.
