Nolan Jones: Cortland

Nolan Jones: Cortland

Informed by his unique background as a traditional graffiti artist and a carpenter in the military, Nolan Jones creates visual art based largely in typographical form. Working with hand to paper, Jones has developed the ability to create original typographic compositions using hand-drawn letterforms and graphic elements. The unrestrained nature of graffiti art is integral to Nolan’s unique style. His work often incorporates or recreates weathered texture or elements of hand processes such as wood shavings and paint splatter. He employs a range of mediums from screen-printing, inking, brush painting, drawing and spray-painting to create type and image. Visual inspiration comes from early American type in hand-painted signage, neon signs, railroad car markings and produce labels.

HO Scale, 50' Boxcar, yellow.  Includes display shelf with track.
