Colleen Mauer Designs

Designer Colleen Mauer's creative venture began as a student of Virginia Tech, where she received a Bachelor's of Science in Industrial Design. Little did she know, her life-long love of creating jewelry would someday become a career. Her designs celebrate simple geometries to create a line of jewelry that can compliment any look...from casual and everyday to chic and classic. Colleen's studio is nestled in Secession where you can experience the production process from start to finish. Colleen was voted Best Local Designer in the San Francisco Bay Guardian's Best of the Bay 2009, 2010 and 2011.

I’ve been painting since 2001, before which I worked as a web and graphic designer. My educational background is in architectural design, which initially sparked the fascination with ornament and pattern that drives my art. My current body of work explores the complexities of the concept of "home" using traditional decorative techniques and textiles.

New Skool

New Skool is owned and designed by San Francisco designer and artist Nate1. Nate’s art and design career has spanned over 20+ years here in the Bay Area. His work follows an influence of the 80’s Pop and Hip Hop Graffiti Art. Nate1 was part of a wave of Graffiti Mural Art that took the Bay Area by storm in the 1980’s. Co-founder of the legendary Master Piece Creators Crew with his mentor Omen 2, they helped create Graffiti history in the Bay. After a 10 year career in the fashion and design industry, Nate started New Skool in 2003, keeping in mind a customer that grew up loving Hip Hop like him. New Skool specializes in super cool tees and hoodies for the infant and toddler Hip Hopper.

Twelve Designs

Twelve Designs: Modern Vintage Jewelry was started in 2004 by Eden Stein on a trip to Vienna, Prague, and Venice. The boutiques, artist’s studios, and flea markets of Europe inspired me to make jewelry and buy vintage jewelry where ever I traveled. My collection features vintage Venetian glass, Austrian crystal, amber, bakelite, and pendants hand-picked from my travels.
